Recharge yoga

Classes Details Main Image

A slower, softer yoga class to help you unwind, release tension and recharge.

Recharge Yoga is a calm, steady practice designed to help you slow down, release tension and properly reset in the middle of a busy week.

This is an opportunity to pause, soften and give your body some space.

The class is more mat-based, with time spent closer to the ground, allowing you to move gently and with awareness. Drawing on Hatha yoga, somatic movement and supportive breathwork, the focus is on noticing, easing and gradually unwinding tension rather than pushing or striving.

There is some standing work, but the overall pace remains unhurried and supportive.

No rushing. No pressure. Just time to move, breathe and unwind.

Is this the right class for me?

Recharge Yoga is the slower, softer of the two Yoga for Everybody classes.

If you're looking for a more energising practice with greater emphasis on standing movement, you may prefer Refresh Yoga. If you'd like to slow things down, stretch, unwind and leave feeling calmer than when you arrived, Recharge Yoga is likely to be a great fit.

FAQS

Frequently asked questions

Answer

Whatever you feel the most comfortable in. Wear clothing that is comfortable to move and stretch in. Materials that breathe and wick away moisture are the most comfortable. Shoes and socks are not worn in class. If you feel uncomfortable without socks then we recommend yoga toe socks which allow you to grip and move your toes properly.

Answers

Yes please. We don't have storage facilities. If you don't have a mat for your first session you could use a folded towel. Once you are committed to regular yoga it would be wise to purchase your own mat - Vicky can help you source one.

Answers

Always make sure that Vicky is aware, before the class, of any injuries or issues so that she can make accommodations in the class. It is important to let Vicky know of any changes since the initial medical forms were completed. Unfortunately the schedules yoga classes are not appropriate during pregnancy.

Answers

Please arrive 5 minutes before class starts so that you can set up and class can commence on time.
